The event subscription box and the comment to your subscribed events are separate things. So when you sign up for both, you get two emails. They should link together.

Create an email digest for people to sign up for. So for example, every week you get a digest of all comments posted, all people who wants to do your event, etc

let's renamed "point-in-time" to "fixed date". And "proposed" to "vote for it!" and cut "ongoing".

When you try to add an event for the first time it takes you to a sign in page that doesn't show gmail and makes it look like you have to register a new FunScape account.

On some computers, there's a lot of blank space to the right (everything is flushed left) except for the Sort By/Filter By buttons, which are flushed right. This makes the page look unbalanced.
